Station 17 was built in 2004 as part of the Oregon City Fire Department. After annexation with Clackamas Fire District #1, the station opened as Station 17 on July 1, 2008 and protects the South End area of Oregon City. The station staffs squad 17 with 6 career personnel that work three separate 24 hour shifts. Each shift has a company officer (Lieutenant or Captain) and a apparatus operator. Station 17 responded to 743 calls for emergency in 2009.
