As well as being the administrative headquarters for Clackamas Fire Distric #1t, Station 1 serves the Town Center, Southgate, Errol Heights, Johnson Creek, and Overland Park neighborhoods, as well as the 82nd Avenue corridor.

Built in 1983, the station staffs Paramedic Engine 1 with nine career personnel that work three separate 24 hour shifts. Each shift has a company officer (a lieutenant or captain), an apparatus operator, and a firefighter.

The station also houses reserve ladder Truck 21. Station 1 responded to 2,102 calls for emergency service in the calendar year 2008.
