Trail Blazer Alumni Celebrity Golf Tournament
Proceeds from the Trail Blazer Alumni Celebrity Golf Tournament event will benefit the Clackamas Emergency Services Foundation.
The Clackamas Emergency Services Foundation is a non-profit 501(c) (3) organization (donations are fully tax-deductible) consisting of emergency service agencies (Clackamas Fire District #1, Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office, Milwaukie Police Department and Oregon City Police Department).
The Foundation formed in 1998 and provides a method for individual community members and business owners to make tax-free contributions in support of the Foundation. Firefighters and police officers who respond to fire, police or emergency medical calls carry funds in their vehicles for use in helping with short-term emergency needs. Funds are also used to provide community assistance to citizens who have experienced a fire or other tragedy, automatic external defibrillators (AEDs) for school and businesses, scholarships to students who have chosen to pursue a career in a course of study related to emergency services professions, food baskets at Christmas through Operation Santa Claus, and bicycle helmets through the “Helmets are Cool” program.
